Do you need a Digital Hero? (Round 2)

Image which reads 'apply now to host a digital changemaker'.

Does your organisation need digital support?

Have you got a digital project that you’ve been desperate to get off the ground? Maybe you’re struggling with your website, want advice on digital content, or support to launch a crowdfunder or other digital campaign? Now’s your chance to host a Digital Hero!

Who are Digital Heroes?

Digital Heroes are digitally-skilled volunteers who are aged between 18 and 30. Digital Heroes are offering 40 hours help to Network members between 19th September and the 18th November 2022.  Timing will depend on your availability, as well as that of your Hero.

Digital Heroes will be volunteering remotely, but we hope that they might attend one in person meeting.

Am I eligible?

Digital Heroes is open to all members of Heritage Trust Network. Priority will be given to Network and Network Plus Members, but Connect Members are eligible and encouraged to apply.

Connect Membership is FREE for not-for-profit groups and organisations who are experiencing financial difficulties.

For more information about the different membership types on offer, please visit the Join the Network webpage.

How do we apply?

Please complete the online application form by 5pm on Friday 22nd July 2022.

We aim to let you know whether or not you’ve been matched with a Digital Hero by Wednesday 3rd August

Please contact Tessa if you have any queries about taking part, or would like to discuss your ideas for a project. Tessa’s e-mail address is: tessa.chynoweth@heritagetrustnetwork.org.uk.

The Digital Heroes project is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund’s Digital Skills for Heritage Initiative, and by a tranche of funding that focuses on expanding digital volunteering opportunities.

More information on the project is available on the Digital Heroes webpage.
