why our work is so important.

Introduction to Heritage Trust Network East Anglia

East Anglia is a glorious area for heritage. Stretching from the Thames to the Wash, our beautiful area is rich in agricultural, maritime, and commercial history and its unique vernacular buildings. Our lesser-known industrial areas are ever vulnerable to irreversible change. We currently enjoy the camaraderie, mutual support and regular forays to 27 Heritage Trust Network member Trusts in our region.

We also know from recent research, that there are 94 Trusts within East Anglia region registered with the Charity Commission whose title includes buildings, architectural, heritage, and preservation – we aim to attract all of these into the invaluable regional network of support.
