Come along for a Ceilidh in a Castle!
Hosted by Alex Paterson, CEO of Historic Environment Scotland, our evening will include a drinks reception, kindly sponsored by Hayes Parsons Insurance Brokers, a two-course meal with half a bottle of wine, and the brilliant Riverside Ceilidh Band to dance the night away with. Do not miss a fantastic opportunity to enjoy this one-off night of networking and entertainment in one of Scotland’s most spectacular venues!
The Great Hall at Stirling Castle “is the largest of its kind ever built in Scotland and was used for feasts, dances and pageants. Completed for James IV in 1503 it has four pairs of tall windows at the dais end, where the king and queen sat, and was heated by five large fireplaces. The exterior walls are a distinctive colour, rendered in Royal Gold harling, as they would have been in the 1500s.” Read more about the castle here.
HTN would like to note our sincere thanks to Historic Environment Scotland for sponsoring both the venue and the meal, enabling us to offer tickets at an affordable rate to our members and friends.
Tickets are £44 per person.
Please use the booking form on Eventbrite to indicate any dietary requirements. There will be a cash bar on site for when the sponsored drinks are finished. Stirling Castle is located at the top of Castle Esplanade, FK8 1EJ and is a fifteen minute walk uphill from the Engine Shed. If this will prove inaccessible for you please contact firstname.lastname@example.org and we will arrange a taxi for you.
We all know that the best networking is done whilst relaxing at the end of the day!
