Chance Heritage Trust are offering members of the public a fantastic and rare opportunity to take ownership and have a voice in the large-scale development of what the trust hopes will be one of the most iconic heritage sites in the country.

The trust want to regenerate the Chance Glassworks, once the home of Chance Brothers whose amazing industrial legacy includes production of the glass for the Crystal Palace and the installation of over 2,000 lighthouse lenses around the world.

Their vision is to create a vibrant centre to include residential, enterprise, educational and leisure space which will become a vibrant urban village benefiting the local community and providing much needed homes, jobs and training opportunities – but they need your help to be able to do it.

By buying shares in the Chance Heritage Trust – shares start from just £20 – you will enable them to carry out the crucial work needed to move such a large-scale, ambitious project forward. As a charitable Community Benefit Society share-holder you would own and control the Trust. Every shareholder has a vote and therefore a voice in determining the future of the Trust and its work.
