Tszwai So is an award-winning architect who co-founded emerging practice Spheron Architects based in London. He was taught by Sarah McLeod while studying at Cambridge University. Tszwai is also a published architectural historian who is an authority on Victorian architect George Truefitt (1824-1902) and Wooden Church Heritage in Belarus.
Named by the RIBA Journal as a rising star in 2016, Tszwai’s architectural projects have been featured in numerous high profile publications worldwide; he has also been nominated for and won many prestigious accolades such as wining the American Institute of Architects UK Young Architect award 2017, and the RIBA London Award 2017. His clients include Birkbeck College, Queen Mary University London, the Diocese of Westminster, the Holy See of Rome, the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and the RIBA Journal.
Tszwai is passionate about giving new life to derelict or underused heritage assets and has been working on a number of listed buildings in Central London for Birkbeck College since 2016.
