Liz has worked in historic building conservation for 15 years and was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Lincolnshire in 2013. She is a full member of the IHBC; is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts; has project managed the repair and re-use of three historic buildings at risk; and has a wide experience of area grant schemes.
Liz is a strong advocate of engaging people in heritage and has designed and delivered several education and volunteering projects, including the Lincolnshire Heritage at Risk project, which was a national pilot. She has previously worked for the National Trust as a Vernacular Buildings Surveyor and for the University of Nottingham in their Manuscripts and Special Collections Department. As a member of the Heritage Trust Network Midlands committee since 2010, Liz has gained a huge amount from working with the committee colleagues and members within the organisation and is keen to support it in achieving its future ambitions
